A refreshing vitamin-enriched energy drink
The first energy drink by Laitilan Wirwoitusjuomatehdas is simultaneously new and familiar. Vita Nova (“new life”) is Finland’s oldest energy drink, having been developed in the 1970s by the world’s northernmost pharmaceutical company Dipolar Oy. This refreshing beverage was embraced especially by professional drivers and shift workers who realised it is a guaranteed cure for tiredness.

After Dipolar, Vita Nova was produced by Laihian Mallas Oy. The recipe remained largely unchanged for decades, and the original flavour of Vita Nova is now also nurtured here at Laitilan Wirwoitusjuomatehdas. The highly skilled product development staff at our factory gave Vita Nova a final touch that made this hefty classic from the corduroy era a little bit lighter to suit the taste of consumers in the 2020s.

The effect of other energy drinks is based on guarana and taurine, which also give them their characteristic flavour. They have never been part of the Vita Nova recipe, and the same is true today: Laitilan Vita Nova eliminates tiredness with the help of caffeine and four types of vitamin B.

This means that Vita Nova also has a completely unique flavour. It tastes like cola with a hint of citrus. This is an energy drink you can truly enjoy!
