Laitilan Kukko Oatmeal Stout 4,5 % is a dark and roasty top-fermented beer. It is made with roasted malts and oats, which give the beer a nice softness and sweetness to an otherwise roasty and dryish body. Roasted malts, on the other hand, bring nice aromas of coffee, chocolate and nuts. In terms of its flavour, Oatmeal Stout is somewhere between dry Irish stouts and sweeter English ones.
Food recommendations: heavy game and stews, spicy lamb dishes and grilled steaks, and chocolate cheesecake or chocolate truffles.
