Hyvä Tuomas is a prize awarded annually by Olutliitto (a Finnish beer consumers' union) in recognition of exemplary work in promoting beer culture. Laitilan Tuomas 2024 Mild Ale was created in partnership with Matti Heikkilä, the winner of the 2023 Hyvä Tuomas prize. Heikkilä served as the CEO of Nokian Panimo for 13 years and has been influential in Suomalainen Olut ry and on the board of Olutliitto. He is also one of the founders of the Best Finnish Beer competition.
Laitilan Tuomas 2024 Mild Ale is a British-style light and clear ale. The malty body is made with traditional Maris Otter malt and Dextrin malt, which give the ale a beautiful colour, malty sweetness and pleasant fullness. Only English Goldings hops, which bring spiciness and fruitiness to the aroma, have been used in this ale.
Goes well with: mushroom dishes, game and fruit pies
Recommended serving temperature: +8...+12°C.
