Laitilan Kukko IPA is now also available as an alcohol-free beer. It retains the familiar and genuine flavour profile of Laitilan Kukko IPA because our use of state-of-the-art techniques, finest raw materials and highly skilled brewers means there is no need to add aroma or unfermented wort to alcohol-free Kukko beers.

Laitilan Kukko IPA Alcohol-free is a heavily hopped, top-fermented, full-malt beer. It is brewed with American hop varieties that give the beer an extremely big hop aroma. In spite of the American hopping, this beer has a malty base that is characteristic of a traditional English-style India Pale Ale. Kukko IPA Alcohol-free retains all of the invigorating attributes of the original Kukko IPA except for the alcohol content.

Laitilan non-alcoholic Kukko beers are the first non-alcoholic beers brewed in Finland that are not produced using the arrested fermentation method. In the arrested fermentation method, the wort only comes into contact with yeast for a few hours. While this prevents the formation of alcohol in the wort, it also prevents the wort from developing many of the the flavours and aromas that beer is known for. Kukko IPA Alcohol-free is produced by removing the alcohol from the original Kukko IPA without distillation, preserving its celebrated original flavour.

Kukko IPA Alcohol-free also suits gluten-free diets and coeliacs. It contains no added starch or sugar.
