Tom Collins Long Drink 5,0 % alc.
A fresh, classic cocktail
Laitila’s Tom Collins long drink is a chillingly refreshing drink. The thirsty dryness of Tom Collins is shaped by the high-quality gin and genuine organic lemon juice, which is then evened out with a pinch of sugar and a good dose of bubbles.
Tom Collins is a gin-based classic drink which gets its name from an old rumour. In 1874, the rumour began to go around in New York: people would ask their friend if they had seen Tom Collins. Since the friend obviously hadn’t heard of this made up character, they were then told that they should go to the local bar and ask about him, because Tom had been speaking bad of them and spreading vicious gossip. At some stage, a certain barman got sick of all these enquiries and had the genius idea of naming this refreshing drink Tom Collins, and then serving this to everyone who asked.
Best served cold.
