Kukko Pils Juhlaolut 5,0 % alc.
An unfiltered dry-hopped full-malt beer
Laitilan Kukko Pils Juhlaolut is a heavily hopped, golden-yellow, unfiltered full-malt beer with a rich, pure white head that keeps the beer protected for a long time. Delicate dry hopping adds freshness to this beer.
Laitilan Kukko Pils became the first Finnish craft beer to be sold in a can on 21 March 2002. Based on the available information, it may even have been the world’s first of its kind. Also in 2002, but a few months later, the American craft beer outfit Oskar Blues Brewery also started to sell its beer in cans, erroneously calling itself the world’s first craft brewery to do so.
Canned Kukko Pils can be seen as a milestone in the deregulation of the brewery business. Together with the retail sector, Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas, with Kukko Pils as its spearhead, played an important role in the deregulation of competition in the beverage industry in the mid-2000s.
Laitilan Kukko Pils Juhlaolut is brewed to celebrate this triumph of the free market.
Recommended food pairings: Laitilan Kukko Pils Juhlaolut is a great choice with any kind of food.
