Kukko APA 4,5 % alc.

Crisply hopped pale ale

Ales have grown in popularity in Finland for the past several years. The Kukko range of beers is known for being a carefully considered selection of traditional styles of beer. American Pale Ale (APA) is an American type of ale that was created at the turn of the 1980s. American hop varieties are typically used as both bittering hops and aroma hops for APAs. As the name implies, APAs are pale in colour and the hopping is very floral.

Laitilan Kukko APA 4.5% is a filtered pale ale. Pale malted barley along with American and Australian hops are used in the brewing process. Kukko APA has a fresh aroma with notes of apricot, passion fruit and refreshing citrus. The malt foundation gives the hops space to bloom. The flavour is as fresh, fruity and rich as the aroma, and everything is topped off by the crisp dry hopping.
